According to the latest info from the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sport of Ukraine about the adoption situation in Ukraine we can see the following:

• - In 2011 there were adopted 4358 children.
• - Ukrainians adopted 3357.
• - Internationally there were adopted 1002 (640 from them were adopted by the US citizens).
• - The overall amount of orphans in Ukraine was 100,7 thousands at the end of 2009.
• - Currently Ukrainian children are adopted the most by citizens of the U.S., Italy, Spain, Israel, Germany, Canada, Belgium Kingdom, Confederation Switzerland.
